Sarah Geronimo holds a birthday party for the Popsters!

TWENTY-NINTH; BLESSED AND GRATEFUL. As Sarah Geronimo was born July 25, 1988, she turned 29 about three weeks ago. It is this year that her years in showbiz has surpassed her age when she officially started in the business. She was 14 when she started walking the superstardom path that she is in right now, and this year, she is already celebrating her 15th year in the industry.
As usual, Sarah Geronimo did not forget to hold a simple party for her fans, the Popsters. With Mommy Divine spearheading the party and the food preparations, it is a practice for Sarah G. to invite fans to come over to her place in Mindanao Avenue for a little get-together, and that happens twice a week: (1) a birthday in July/August to celebrate her birthday, and (2) during December for Christmas.
This year's birthday party came later than the previous years because Sarah G. has been very busy with the Finally Found Someone and The Voice Teens, the party had to be set two weeks after her actual birthday. This year the party happened last August 7, 2017 (Monday), at the Popstar Royalty's Resturant in Mindanao Avenue.
The party is just simple as Mommy Divine would only task the heads of Popsters to make a list of 200 fans to invite to the party. But this year, unlike the past years, Sarah Geronimo was not able to show up because she was sick that night. It can be recalled that she went to Cebu that weekend to support Matteo Guidicelli in his Ironman70.3 Triathlon contest, and aside from that, SG worked in the morning of that day, and that's when fatigue probably got the better of her and she missed the party.
Though Sarah G. was not around, the party still went on and was still fun with all the food and games. In the past parties, Sarah G would personally greet everyone and she would visit each table and have photo ops. This year is not that year for the fans, but no worries, we still have that December party to look forward to.
